Privacy policy

Brainchild Channel Connect ("the service") is operated by Brainchild Entertainment. It lets YouTube channel owners share their channel analytics with Brainchild.

What we collect

• Your Google account email address and account identifier, used to sign you in and show you your connections.
• With your permission, via the YouTube API Services: your channel's analytics (views, engaged views, watch time, estimated revenue, ad impressions, subscriber changes, by day, country and content type) and your channel's video list (titles, publish dates, durations, privacy status and public counts).
• An OAuth refresh token that lets us read that data daily. We store it encrypted in Google Cloud Secret Manager.

How we use it

To analyse channel performance for our business relationship with you. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it's stored and for how long

In Google Cloud (BigQuery, Firestore, Secret Manager) in the United States. Analytics data is kept while your channel stays connected. Video details are refreshed daily and deleted after 30 days. We re-check your authorization at least every 30 days.

Disconnecting and deletion

You can disconnect at any time on the My connections page, which revokes our access and deletes your data within 7 days. You can also revoke access in your Google security settings. We then delete your data within 30 days.

YouTube and Google

This service uses YouTube API Services. See the Google Privacy Policy. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
